Journey

The perfumers Laura Santander, Chris Maurice, Christian Carbonnel, and Christian Provenzano collaborated together to create the fragrances for Sospiro Perfumes.

The creative concept is to establish a link between an Italian or Mediterranean-inspired perfume collection and another Italian art form, namely the art of opera and classical music. Thus, it involved developing a line of perfumes that could communicate in a common olfactory language with a variety of markets, especially the Middle East market. Because of this, there is a hint of oud in a few of the collection's scents, but it is only a hint; oud is merely one of the components that are combined to create various olfactory compositions rather than the main character.
